Remnants in the Rough

Reading of the Day 9/29/25: Ezekiel 12-14

Ezekiel 14:23: And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

America is going through a rough season...heartless, ungodly acts are taking place. And of course we know, that's nothing new. Sin is sin, no matter how extreme or insignificant it may seem. In this rough season, it's hard to pick out the diamonds in the rough...and sadly, when they're found, they are oftentimes destroyed by those who don't appreciate the pure light they shine. Some of us have become too accustomed to the "rough." The rubble & residue of a life where God is forgotten has become normal to many. Instead of being refined by God, people are becoming just as rough as their surroundings. But there are people out there who are searching for the refined shine of a diamond, peeking its way through the mess! This Scripture says that even in suffering the consequences of their own actions, the people of Israel would have a remnant. There would be comfort for the prophet Ezekiel as he spoke Truth, knowing that there would be some who would follow the ways & doings of The Lord! There are people out there seeking to be part of the remnant! The seekers may not be as bold as the destroyers, but they're out there, quietly waiting, hoping & praying for a sign that God is still there...a sign that God still loves them. So we need to be the diamonds, or remnants, in the rough! We need to let our light shine boldly, especially for those who are quietly suffering & searching for that sign! They would then be able to see, as the Scripture says, that God has not done anything without a cause, or without hope. People may think God has forgotten them, but really, people have forgotten Him. Judgment comes, but so does mercy, and we have to share that hope with our nation and the world! GOD STILL LOVES! GOD STILL CARES! WE NEED TO BE CLOSER TO HIM THAN EVER BEFORE!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
