No Ceiling!

Reading of the Day: Proverbs 15-17
Proverbs 15:24: The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
The way of life is above to the wise...with God, the Giver of life, there is ALWAYS a way! When I think of "above" and simply look up at the sky, I immediately feel refreshed. I remember how endless & limitless God is! How He can only be defined by undefined space & eternity! When I look down, I automatically see an end. A finishing point. The hard ground, with no way of pushing past it...that's what hell must feel like. But with Jesus, THERE IS NO DISMAL END! JUST A NEW BEGINNING TO A LIFE THAT NEVER ENDS! THERE IS NO CEILING TO GOD'S ABILITIES! THERE IS NO END TO EVERLASTING LIFE! I just felt to really emphasize that! As we learned today in service, there is always a new chapter with God! The next verse after the one above reads, Proverbs 15:25: "The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow." The proud & self-serving have their temporary houses...but even the greatest mansions have limits! They end somewhere! But the border of the widow, the lowly, the one who admits they need God...it's just a border! Just a starting point! Just a beginning! We build something much greater when we build our lives on Christ! So next time you're feeling down, look up. Look at the sky. At the absence of a ceiling and the presence of God & all His limitless possibilities!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
