Beautifully Restored
Reading of the Day 6/16/25: Psalms 21-23
Psalm 23:3: He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Do you remember watching those old classic VHS tapes? I miss those days! Some of them talk about how the film was "beautifully restored...as close as possible to its original form at the time of its theatrical release...to reverse the damage caused by time and improper storage, such as scratches, fading, and decay" according to a Google search. I don't know about you all, but sometimes I feel like one of those old VHS tapes! I need to remember to run to Jesus so He can beautifully restore my soul and remind me of my created & intended purpose! There are just some times that we let time and improper care scratch, fade & cause decay in our lives spiritually. Sometimes, we watch everything unfold before us like an old movie. We see the potential of how beautiful it could be, but we accept the damaged version as "good enough." But God has so much more planned for us than that! We don't have to accept yesterday's "wear & tear" as our new identity! We don't have to let stress win! Run to Jesus, and then find rest! Find restoration! Find that path of righteousness instead of a track record of trauma! Psalm 23 is a wonderful passage-so don't just stop at this verse! In fact, don't stop at this passage! The whole Bible beautifully restores our souls in so many ways!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
